School starts on Tuesday, August 7th — are you ready? We are gearing up for textbook distribution. For the last two weeks, we have been barcoding new books, collecting books from last year (why won’t everyong return their books at the end of the year like they’re supposed to??) and trying to make sense out of the chaos that descends on the Library during the summer. Things are a bit crazy and messy right now, but if all goes smoothly, we’ll have all the textbooks out and the Library cleaned up in time to open on Monday, August 20th.
Remember, if you didn’t pick up your schedule this week during registration, you will get a copy in your first period class on Tuesday morning. Check the locator lists on the cafeteria and auditorium windows to see where your 1st period class is, and that teacher will give you your schedule.
Our new building is not quite ready but it should be finished soon. Teachers will be moving sometime during the first semester, so be ready for a some shuffling around of class locations. Until then, take a peek at the new building behind Industrial Arts – it looks great!
